No More 17 Year Olds On The Roads?
Younger people do not seem to be that interested in driving as they used to be, the reasons for this, well read on.
Drink
Drink does seem to be a big reason why these people are not intersted in driving and not in bad way. Many younger people, including myself, like to go out for a drink or two at their local or hit the clubs into the nigh and the point to be made here is, what is the point in driving? Driving seems like a bit of a pointless thing to do if you are going out to get drunk. Surely it is better to catch a taxi or walk home than try and drive a car wasted? It really is the best thing to do.
Money
The car and the lessons cost money alone and it makes a lot of sense why younger people will not pay out for them. On top of this there is the insurance and tax to pay and when you add it all up it just gets stupid and most teenagers would rather spend the money elsewhere.
Easier To Walk
Walking and cycling is just as easy as getting in the car and driving down the road, it is good that many teens would prefer to just do this. IPods have really helped when it comes to younger people walking because it isnt boring at all.
The Alternative
There is of course another option and it comes in the form of car leasing. Some of the deals you can get for this kind of thing are astounding and well worth checking out. You can even get bad credit car leasing and van leasing if you really wanted too.
The best thing to do is to just weigh out all of the options that you have. Leaving it a few years makes no difference at all.
